I am looking for a good beef and vegetables soup recipe, something similar to the soup at Steaks & Shake.?

My husband and I totally love the beef and vegetable soup at Steaks %26amp; Shake restaurant. I am hoping for a similar recipe. The soup is not too thick and it's just perfect in texture and the flavour is not overpowering like most stew recipe.I am looking for a good beef and vegetables soup recipe, something similar to the soup at Steaks %26amp; Shake.?

does it have noodles or macaroni in it? I have a fantastic Cheeseburger soup recipe that's a staple of my life, but it does use noodles.
beef soup recipes must be seasoned according to individual tastes!! If you find the flavors too strong, leave off some of the herbs and spices or cut them down in amounts.

Basic Beef and veggie soup:

2 pounds beef soup bones with sufficient meat on them

simmer for 4 hours. Strain bones and meats out and dice meat.

add veggies that are chopped fairly fine:

bell peppers, tomatos, carrots, potatos, celery, onion, etc.

Cook for about an hour on simmer. Add salt, white pepper, and other herbs and spices such as oregano, cilantro, sage, thyme, chives, parsley, cloves, garlic, comino, what ever combination or amounts you see fit. Keep them on the short side until you have it simmered for about 15 minutes and taste. then you can add more or next time do less.

I never make soup the same way twice in a year. I never use recipes for these things either. It is a matter of what is in my pantry and freezer.

I save up the broth on canned veggies and what is left from cooking frozen veggies in freezer boxes to use as broth for cooking the meat. Adds a great deal of flavor without adding any salt to the final preparation!

Have fun playing with soup ingredients! I don't know what Steaks %26amp; Shake is, we don't have one here.
