Does anyone have a potato cheese soup recipe with only a few ingredients?

Someone told me about a recipe with velveeta, milk and potatoes, but I don't know what else it takes- I would like to use as few ingredients as possible. I know there are lots of recipes for this soup on Y!A, but none with just a few ingredients. Thanks in advance for your help!!Does anyone have a potato cheese soup recipe with only a few ingredients?
thats all you have to use(unless you want to add shredded cheese)

boil your potatoes until fork tender. pour off water BUT leave some in the bottom. pour milk to cover the potatoes. add cubed velveeta until it just like you like it. salt and pepper.

i add some shredded cheese and sour cream to mine.Does anyone have a potato cheese soup recipe with only a few ingredients?

have fun

what i like about this page is you can set the serving amounts

and it will adjust it for you
you can pretty much get away with using that recipe as long as you make a roux first. that and some salt and pepper and a couple of bay leaves and you should be good.
Easy Cheese and Potato Soup

6 medium to large white potatoes

2 cans chicken broth (or vegetable broth for vegetarian)

1 can of water

1 cup chopped celery

1 large white onion, chopped

1/2 stick margarine

2 cups half %26amp; half

1 lb. velveeta cheese

1 tablespoon chopped dill (fresh is preferred)

Peal and cube potatoes; salt and pepper to taste.

Using the chicken broth, add cubed potatoes with 1 can of water, celery, onion and margarine. After potatoes are done, add velveeta cheese (or velveeta light) and half %26amp; half. Stir in or garnish with fresh dill, if desired. Ready to eat!
