You don't really need a recipe.
Boil your chicken. Use the water you boiled your chicken is as the broth. Cut your chicken up or pull off the bone and add to broth. To give it a little texture, mix flour and milk in a cup, pour into soup through a strainer. Add a little salt, pepper, and seasoned salt to taste.
You can add carrots, corn, or any other veggies if you'd like.
I like to just add corn and sometimes some drop dumplings, which thickens it a little. (ckicken corn soup)
To make dumplings:
mix flour (self-rising) and milk (very little) together until very firm dough. Drop by tablespoons into boiling broth.Does anyone know where I can find chicken soup recipes?
Chicken soup - you can basically put any veggies you have in the house into the soup. Here is my typical chicken soup recipes:
1. oil the hot pot;
2. sautee cut up celery, carrots, onions, leeks (or like I said before - whatever veggies you like or have at home);
3. once the veggies are almost done, pour in chicken or vegetable broth and water (I normally do it 1:1);
4. wait until the broth/water boils, you can put in some cubed chicken (whatever you have on hand);
5. cook in boiling water for another few minutes until chicken is cooked (depends on how big the cubes are - smaller the cubes, faster it cooks);
6. top with salt and pepper to taste.
by the way - you can also add egg noodle or rice to cook in the soup - whatever you prefer.Does anyone know where I can find chicken soup recipes?
